Dirty Clothes

Sarah’s laundry clothes were murmuring in a faint rustle. Oh, yes! you heard me right. Sarah’s clothes always used to debate what kind of person she is.

Her crisp formal wear said in a gallant voice “oh I know for sure Sarah is a brilliant professional woman, the other day I accompanied her to office and the way she works with everyone and gets the work done makes that evident. “

Her sports jersey also acknowledged that she is a fierce sportswoman. It told in a sing song voice “you should see Sarah in volleyball court she never misses to strike her ball into her opponent court. Though I turn out muddier” he added disgruntled ” I still enjoy the game with her.”

“Ahem Ahem “

Every cloth turned to see who it was.

It was the apron’s irritated grunt. It began in shrill tone “oh! hell with that woman! I don’t know why she uses all the spices stacked in the kitchen. More over every time she lets the stew boil vigorously, I get stained and burnt.” It ended in rather sorrow tone “I would really wish she not being clumsy in the kitchen that would really benefit me get rid of this foul smell of dried spices and smudges of curry “.

Sarah’s nightdress now positively joined with apron to voice its disapproval about Sarah. “I too really wish she doesn’t roll over too much in bed. she makes me all wrinkled within minutes”

Now every cloth turned to the fancy dress of Sarah’s and asked in dismay about its opinion on Sarah.

Fancy dress was too nonchalant. It rather added in a very bored voice “I go out with Sarah very occasionally to very exquisite places where she mostly dines and meets people. But you see as I am an occasional wear to elite places unlike you folks, I am treated much elegantly than you “saying this in a hearty tone it resigned to its corner.

The other clothes were completely irritated and humiliated by its response. So, they all started to yell out at the fancy dress for belittling them.

Suddenly there was a splash of laundry detergent on top of them. They all were momentarily startled by the incoming downpour.

The detergent gave a rueful smile and said “Tut, Tut, Tut the same discussion over and over again. Stop judging people you will get no good out of it. Come on! let’s all take a good hot shower and I will clean you inside out and wipe out your memories.”
